Murrell Hall International Photography | Cuba Cars

US-Cuban relations are at their best for more than fifty years. American visitors, now welcome in Cuba, are discovering a land of warm and hospitable people caught in a time-warp. Probably the most striking discovery is to see vintage American cars from the 1940s and 1950s still in everyday use; many looking as if they have just rolled off the showroom floor. They are a testament to the ingenuity of Cubans who have kept them rolling, and the initial quality of the cars. These images were recorded in August, 2015.
