In the shadow of one of London’s newest buildings – The Shard - is a trading area with a history going back a thousand years. It’s known as The Borough Market. Here vendors offer an incredible assortment of meats, cheeses, poultry, vegetables and fruit. The farm-to-table principle has always been alive and well here. More recent additions are the many stalls featuring ready-to-eat foods. At the end of this portfolio are views of 888,000+ ceramic poppies - adorning the moat round the nearby Tower of London, installed for Remembrance Day 2014.
